Clear earning growth is available based on your production performance. About Us

Malone Painting is a locally owned, fast-growing painting contractor serving the greater St. Louis area. We specialize in residential repaints, remodels, and small-to-medium commercial projects. Our reputation is built on clear communication, reliability, and exceptional results.

We’re also a  tech-forward company —using advanced systems, mobile apps, and AI tools to streamline operations, improve customer service, and continually raise the bar on quality. What You’ll Do

As Production Manager, you’ll make sure our trade partners and in-house painters deliver beautiful, lasting work and an outstanding customer experience—while leveraging technology to plan, monitor, and improve operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate painting trade partners and, as needed, in-house crews to achieve schedule, budget, and quality goals.
  • Build strong relationships with trade partners to align them with Malone Painting’s quality standards and customer-focused approach.
  • Use technology tools (project management apps, communication platforms, and AI-powered systems) to plan, track, and report on production.
  • Visit job sites to inspect craftsmanship, resolve challenges, and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (job costs, productivity, customer feedback) and share results with the leadership team.
  • Support recruiting and onboarding new trade partners and painters who share our standards of professionalism and quality.
  • Work with leadership to refine processes and implement tech-enabled improvements as the company grows.
  • Uphold all safety and compliance requirements on job sites.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with skilled tradespeople, and is eager to use technology to make great work even better.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) — strong proficiency in both is  essential for success.

  • 3+ years in a production management, supervisory, or business ownership role.
  • Proven ability to organize, motivate, and hold teams accountable for results.
  • Solid understanding of painting techniques, materials, and project planning.
  • Comfort using technology—mobile apps, project management software, and emerging AI tools—to improve communication, scheduling, and job tracking.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

We reward performance and leadership with a competitive package:

  • Highly competitive wages (bi-weekly pay) plus earning growth tied to production capabilities
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Company vehicle and gas after 3–6 months of successful onboarding
  • Health insurance, with voluntary dental and vision coverage
  • Life insurance (basic and voluntary)
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Employee referral bonuses
  • A supportive, growth-oriented culture where craftsmanship, customer service, and technology are valued
